Roger Willard
Architect & Planner

Registered Architect, Town Planner, Dip.Arch (Oxford), Dipl.TP (Oxford), Fellow NZIA, MNZPI

Roger is an award-winning architect with over 30 years of experience in New Zealand. Previously, he was the sole director of APR Architects, later renamed ARTO Architects, one of the Bay Of Plenty’s largest architectural practices of its time.

Prior to forming his Rotorua practice, Roger worked in the UK, Zambia, Saudi Arabia, Qatar, Bahrain, Dubai, and Iraq for major British and American consultants.

After retiring, he received an overwhelming number of requests from past clients and referrals seeking his services, leading him establish Spectrum Architects.

Roger focuses on creating inspiring architecture that suits and expresses its function, delivering projects on time and within budget to meet every client's needs. He brings a wealth of experience across many architectural and planning disciplines

Connor Aislabie
Graduate Architect

BAS (University of Auckland), MArch Prof (Victoria University of Wellington)

Connor is a graduate architect with a Master’s degree in Architectural Studies (completed in 2021). His thesis delved into the relationships between narratives and storytelling through architecture, exploring how these elements can effectively convey the rich history and cultural heritage of New Zealand.

Connor's past experience with 3D architectural visualization brings a resourceful touch to our design process. His expertise in this area helps our clients envision realistic representations of their designs.

Since joining Spectrum Architects in 2023, Connor has rapidly integrated into our team. He has developed knowledge in a wide range of construction styles, systems, and ideas, allowing him to showcase his keen eye for detail in the construction documentation process
